Our Story

Hello beautiful pet people, my name is Min Lee and our very first cutie Patootie Pet was our gorgeous pup, Remi. Two years ago I decided to get my partner, Jason a puppy to keep him company and give us something to love. We had discussed having children together at some stage, my son with another had grown up into an amazing young adult and we thought it was the right time to add to our little family. Along came the opportunity to help out a friend who was caught in a calamity, rescue a puppy who was living in a motel room and pick up that new addition for our tribe. Really, how hard could it be, right? There were many things that we were so clueless about when it came to becoming puppy parents! We did a little research online, found her a vet, bought a plethora of doggy 'non' essentials and dived in head first. That first week, we almost drowned! We were so overwhelmed with the extra responsibility and the upheaval to our usual daily routines. We had no idea what we had gotten ourselves into! I would liken it to having a brand new baby without the nine months to prepare. She definitely turned our lives upside down and had us doing and accepting things that we would not have been caught dead doing before. Things like, having dog hair everywhere, picking up dog poo, letting an animal lick our faces and handling gross stuff like raw chicken necks and all sorts of offal!

But just like any loving parent will tell you, it was undeniably all worth it!
